          Updates &           Announcements
Teachers get extern experience in public health. The San Bernardino Department of Public Health just did it!! They hosted three teacher externs who will pass on their first-hand experience to the students in their classrooms. Congratulations to Syreeta Adonis, Michelle Willis and  Angela Quinlan for completing their externship experience.

A special thanks to Ken Johnston, Pooneh Navab,Tinuade Akinfolarin-Arbouet and Terri Bailey
who assisted in this program.

Hosting a teacher extern for 20 hours at your site or agency can have a huge impact on educating students about the health professions and the current needs. Please fill out the interest form if your site may be willing to host a teacher as part of the externship program (see the host site packet). The Inland Coalition will be meeting with teachers in August about possible externships and we need your participation!
