
BC STUDENTS IN NYU ENGINEERING PROGRAM PRESENT PROJECTS
Students in our Intro to Engineering and Design class, one of many courses offered through our partnership with NYU's Tandon School of Engineering, presented their semester-long robotics design projects, which included a security infiltration drone, a bomb disarming robot and a Mars Rover robot. 5TH GRADE SCIENTISTS DISSECT FROGS
Fifth graders dissected frogs in science class this week, to deepen their study and understanding of body systems.
THIS WEEK'S SENIOR SPEAKERS
This week's senior speakers were (left to right) Nadine K., Kirsten E. and Meret B. Nadine spoke about how although life is a path and we can never be sure what's coming, we should embrace hardship and enjoy the journey. Kirsten recounted memories from her time taking the bus to school when she lived in India and explained how it affects how she thinks about her life today. Meret talked about how the unknowns make life more interesting and keep her mind open to new possibilities.

Students debuted their self-portraits to family and the BC community at the Second Grade Art Showcase this week.
ATHLETICS MIDDLE SCHOOL VARIETY SHOW: SONG, DANCE, MAGIC & MORE   STUDENTS TO CREATE MODEL BUILDINGS FOR MENTOR ARCHITECTS
Students in Digital Arts II went to The Skyscraper Museum to support the class' 3D modeling architecture study. They visited the exhibit "Garden City, Mega City: Rethinking Cities for the Age of Global Warming. Each student has a mentor architect and will be creating their own model building considering land use, form and function of the space. |
