We look forward to releasing a full list of colleges later this year at the end of the admissions season.

10TH GRADE WRITES SPANISH STORIES & HELPS TEACH 1ST GRADERS
Spanish Teacher Rebeca Matthews' 10th grade students created six Spanish children's stories loosely based on existing stories, using the preterite and imperfect tenses and creatively illustrating them either by hand or using design apps like stop motion animation. Then they sent key vocabulary words to first graders who practiced them ahead of time in class. At the readings, the 10th graders asked the Lower Schoolers comprehension questions and discussed the moral at the end of each story. Read more or see photos.

Order, order! Seventh graders became attorneys and justices to argue Denver Dispatch vs. U.S. Government, a hypothetical First Amendment case, at the Brooklyn Bankruptcy Court in Downtown Brooklyn. The case questions whether the fictional newspaper has a right to publish articles on a biological weapons research facility or whether they would pose too much of a risk to national security.
