Tree Succession Update

In June of 2014, the City Commission approved the funding for the Tree Succession Plan, which includes the planting of more than 3,000 trees and palms in residential areas throughout the City.  The contractor selection recommendation was approved by the Commission on March 10th, 2015.  The project is anticipated to start in April/May 2015 and will take approximately 10-12 months to complete the tree plantings.  The contractor will be responsible for the watering and maintenance of the trees for one year after the trees are planted as well as removing the tree bracing and soil watering rings at the end of the one year maintenance period. For questions or more information email: Trees@coralgables.com.
