Public Hearing Reminder: Mediterranean Village  

On Wednesday, March 25, at 1 p.m., at City Hall, 405 Biltmore Way, the Coral Gables City Commission  will review on first reading the Mediterranean Village Planned Area Development (PAD), a proposed 6.7-acre project near the Central Business District. 2015 Election Candidate Forum  

The Coral Gables Chamber of Commerce will host its biennial Candidate Forum at the University of Miami's Fieldhouse on Tuesday, March 31 at 6 p.m. in anticipation of the upcoming April 14 election for Mayor and City Commission seats IV and V. Coral Gables Eggstreme Egg Hunt & Helicopter Egg Drop

GOAL !!!

The Coral Gables Museum's original exhibit "12 Stadiums 12 Cities," which focused on the stadiums constructed for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has been awarded the 2015 Brazilian International Press Award Board's Special Prize. The annual award recognizes organizations and individuals who promote a positive image of Brazil.  The original exhibit, curated by the Director of the Brazilian Cultural Center in Miami, had a four-month run last year at the Museum.

Add another stop to your tour of Coral Gables cultural venues on Gallery Night April 3. This month Canale Diaz Art Center, which specializes in contemporary art from Latin America, opened its doors at 146 Madeira Avenue. Gallery Night is held the first Friday of every month. The Adult Activity Center at the Coral Gables Youth Center is offering classes in French, Spanish, Italian and Mandarin, as well as English.
