The Coral Gables Museum's original exhibit "12 Stadiums 12 Cities," which focused on the stadiums constructed for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, has been awarded the 2015 Brazilian International Press Award Board's Special Prize. The annual award recognizes organizations and individuals who promote a positive image of Brazil. The original exhibit, curated by the Director of the Brazilian Cultural Center in Miami, had a four-month run last year at the Museum.

This month Canale Diaz Art Center, which specializes in contemporary art from Latin America, opened its doors at 146 Madeira Avenue. Gallery Night is held the first Friday of every month.
