Not only did the Class of 2013 leave a special mark on Vermont Academy, but members of the class were also highly sought after by colleges and universities all over the world. From California to Scotland, from Vermont to Florida, this year's graduating class will pursue higher education at some very impressive institutions. Allegra Handler is a four-year senior from Martinsville, NJ, and a member of the VA Class of 2013. Truly a "chip off the old block", Allegra is the fifth member of her family to attend Vermont Academy, following in the footsteps of her father, uncle and two brothers. An avid rider, Allegra was on VA's equestrian team all of her four years. She was also a proctor and the admissions office head tour guide. Allegra looked at four schools when deciding where to attend high school. She chose Vermont Academy. Find out why >

Admissions Director Dave Hodgson will take on the Dean of Students role at the Academy this fall. Notes Dave of his time in Admissions, "It has been a pleasure and privilege serving as the Director of Admissions the past two years and I'm proud of what we have accomplished as an office in my time as Director. We have a talented student body that has contributed greatly to all facets of the Academy, and our enrollment numbers are the highest they have been in ten years." Read more >

As spring turns to summer and Vermont Academy transitions to the 2013-2014 school year, the athletics office bids farewell to a handful of individuals whom have had special impacts on a variety of programs and welcomes an impressive collection of new coaches fortunate for the opportunities to build on the solid foundations established by their predecessors.
