Saying Goodbye to Iconic Figures
Late December and all of January were filled with shock and despair in the music and entertainment community. Day after day we tuned in to read that another idol or icon had passed away. Tragically, most were due to cancer. My original plan was to due a tribute to both Lemmy Kilmister and David Bowie, but since their deaths, there have just been too many more not to mention...

The list was hard to put together. The musicians were part of the concert of my life and I have seen the movies or watched the TV shows that made many of these entertainers household names. I am sure many of you feel the same.
The unfortunate reality that we are facing is that rock icons and acting idols are getting older and we will lose more as the days go on. So today's lesson: if your favorite band or artist comes around, go see them, don't wait until "next time" . There just may not be a next time.
