Auctioning Eddie for a Good Cause        
Proceeds Will Buy Toys-For-Tots 
   
For years we have been made offers for our coveted Eddie Van Halen P.O.P. poster that advertised Eddie's 5150 high top and low top sneakers. We have decided to discontinue carrying the shoes, and we thought, we can't just trash this poster since SOOOO many people offered to buy it! So, we are auctioning it off with the proceeds to be used to buy toys for the Toys-For-Tots campaign. By the way, we are a collection location for T-F-T as well! Here are the details:

The dimensions are 20.5" wide by 40" high. It is not in "perfect" condition, it did hang from the ceiling so there are two small holes near the top and some of the edges are slightly rumpled. Other than that, it is in VERY good condition. It's mounted on 1/2" foam board. Delivery will be by pick up, or you can pay for shipping. To submit a bid, please email to retroactive2004@aol.com. Updates on the bidding will be posted on our Facebook page, there is a link in the right column of this newsletter. Bidding will start at $50, remember this is for the kids!!!

Retro Active 12 Days of Christmas
An Annual Holiday Tradition, With a New Twist
 
It's that time of year again. Time for the Retro Active 12 Days of Christmas! This year's format is slightly different. We will begin the contest on Wednesday December 4. We will post a trivia question on our Facebook page every weekday for 12 days. You will have until 8pm on that day to answer the question correctly and you can only submit one answer per day. For every correct answer you will get 1 to 3 points, depending on the difficulty of the question. At the end of the 12 days, we will award a 1st ($30 Gift Certificate), 2nd ($20 Gift Certificate) and 3rd ($15 Gift Certificate) place prize. Gift certificates will be valid for in store OR website use. In the event of a tie(s) we will have a lightning round where the questions will pertain to Retro Active, the store, the website and/or events at Retro Active or sponsored by Retro Active.  Since there were some technical difficulties with Facebook messaging last year all answers will be submitted by email to info@shopretroactive.com.
