Hi!

St. Patty's Kitten

We just have to tell everyone Happy St. Patrick's Day! Once again, we would like to thank everyone for their continued support and prayers. Some of you may know I had a slight medical issue last week and ended up in the hospital. I am now on blood pressure medicine and following doctor's orders with another doctor's appointment this week. I have also made promises to slow down and relax! SPECIAL thanks to Dani for caring for my Mother and Christine for caring for the animals.

Good news! Missy, Pomeranian, who had been here for several years was adopted this past Saturday. We know Karla who adopted Missy's brother will be very excited to read this!

Continuing with my promise to take it easy, this is going to be short!

Blessings,

Linda York, President

Hi Linda and Larry,

I had sent an email before with some pictures of Maggie, but never did hear back from you. I know you are busy so no worries.

I took these photos of Simon and Maggie awhile back at her first vet appt here. She has made a lot of progress even though getting her nails clipped at the vet was not her favorite thing. I have been trying to do it myself but she protests way too much for me to do it alone, but the vet does a great job.

I just wanted you to know she is really doing well. A happy dog who loves all dogs and all things. She can't wait until winter is over. She isn't a fan of the snow like I thought she would be. She loves her walks though.

My dog walkers introduced me to a nice harness/leash for dog who back out of collars and harnesses. I use it for Maggie and it works great. Very easy to use. www.harnesslead.com

Have a good night. I hope you are doing great.

Melissa, Maggie, and Simon

Melissa,

THANK YOU for the update. I thought an answer was sent but guess not!

I wanted you to know that Maggie likes Green Beans and Carrots now.  She likes Strawberries.  She is such a dream of a dog.  She sleeps, walks, sleeps, plays....she really is as sweet as they come.  We love her.

Talk to you soon!

Linda,

I just wanted to update you on "Sunflower", now Schmoo, whom we adopted from you. I also wanted to let you know we have a new address. I know one of your stipulations was not to change the microchip info from PetPals info to ours. I wanted to make sure you had up to date info if, God forbid, Schmoo gets lost. His collar has all our info, but you never know.
Schmoo is one of the best animals I have ever had the privilege with which to share my life. He is the most loyal, loving, clown of a companion. He is obedient, fun loving and thinks he is a people rather than a dog. He doesn't really care for the company of other dogs; because he doesn't think he is one, lol! Even though he would prefer to be with humans, he is not the least bit aggressive towards other dogs; he just simply ignores them. He does enjoy his kitty sister and guinea pigs, however.

He lives for his daily walks, rides in cars and during the summer - kayaking! He sits on his seat and knows not to move around so as not to rock the boat. He is extremely intelligent and picked up training easily. He is my constant companion and best friend. When I think of how he came to you and how his life started, my heart breaks. I don't understand how people can be so cruel to such loving and trusting creatures. Thank you for all you do and for rescuing him! I can't imagine life without my goofy Schmoo!

I have attached a PDF with some pictures for you.

Thanks again,
Laura

THANK YOU Laura! Could you please send the pictures in a jpg format? I can't download the pictures to share with everyone. :-(

Sorry we can't list all the updates. They are REALLY appreciated!
