BOLD zine lgbt youth

Hey gang!

The BOLD Program is excited to collaborate with Boulder High School for our next DIY Zine-Making project!! 'Zine's are an integral part of LGBTQ resistance and history! Creating a 'Zine is an awesome way to express yourself through art and creative writing, plus they're easy to make and a fun skill to have! Dates: February 16, February 23, March 2, March 9, & March 16. 12-4. This 'Zine will focus on bullying and allyship in Boulder County. This is an opportunity for youth voices to rise in a safe and creative environment and to speak freely about an impactful issue. All LGBTQ and Allied High school aged youth are invited to participate in this radical art project! The project will consist of two teen talking circles, a 'Zine-making presentation by Kelly Shortandqueer of the Denver 'Zine Library, and finally the production and distribution of a youth-created, youth-driven DIY 'Zine. No experience necessary! Wanna participate? Have questions? Contact me at: bmann@outboulder.org

In solidarity,

b mann
