Save the Date! LGBT Health Fair - May 4

 Dear Community, We are amping up our Health & Wellness program and this year will offer an LGBT Health Fair on Saturday May 4, 10am-2pm, at Boulder Center for Conscious Community (BC3), 1637 28th Street in Boulder. The health fair will be offered free to the LGBT and allied community to offer testing, access to LGBT-friendly providers, and health and wellness-related groups and activities. If you are interested in taking part in the health fair as a provider or as a wellness-related group, please contact Jen at jspolnik@outboulder.org or 303.499.5777. Or if you are interested in attending, be sure to save the date! We will have other health & wellness activities planned throughout the year including hikes, bike rides, and lectures. So stay tuned!  Time to celebrate Obama's re-election!!! You are invited to "An Inaugural Ball" party. Let's Dance, Talk, Laugh and enjoy each others company. COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Aspen Gay Ski Week - January 13-20

 Aspen Gay Ski Week is a week long LGBTQ winter event held in January each year. Aspen is located in the heart of the Rockie Mountains just hours from Denver by car and 30 minutes by plane into Aspen Airport. We have plenty to for everyone..even if you don't ski or board. We have daily skiing/boarding on one of the four mountains in the area with guides for all abilities. We also have daily apres ski parties, dinners, comedy, film, boutique & art walk, nightly parties, snow shoeing, sleigh rides, yogo & spa days...and much much more.
If you've been coming for years or it's your first time, there is something new going daily. We have strived over the last 5 years to bring you a world class event set in a beautiful mountain get away. Aspen has over 300 days of sunshine each year...but don't worry, we have our fair share of powder days and it always seems to dump during Gay Ski Week. More info |

Knitting Man - Sat, Jan. 12

 Knitting Man is Boulder's gay men's knitting group. All knitting levels are welcome. A teacher will be on hand with yarn and needles to help you get started. Just bring $5 to cover the cost of supplies. If you're an experienced knitter bring your project and join us for an afternoon of good company and the magic of knitting!

81-year-old lesbian with Parkinson's seeks live-in caregiver to provide some driving, cooking, cleaning, personal care, and laughs! The hours are negotiable, and a one-year commitment is requested. The ideal candidate is a lesbian (or a woman who is an ally) who is at least 21 years old, is able-bodied, likes sports (CU women's basketball, for example), the outdoors and wildlife, has no pets and who doesn't smoke. The caregiver will be provided with a nice garden level apartment, plus a stipend. Flagstaff Mountain location.
