Dear Community,
To celebrate National Coming Out Day we gathered as friends, family & allies. In honor of this day's traditions, we came OUT this past Thursday evening for Happy Hour at George's. Everyone was invited to join us for a casual evening of socializing, snacks and conversation. We had a lovely group of people come OUT with us. We reserved & took over the bar's lounge couch area with all our pride and presence. We had nearly twenty friendly faces, including some of our very own board. Lots of plans were made between participants for future plans to socialize. I was quite happy to be in attendance with all of these fantastic people. I'm already looking forward to seeing everyone at the next Happy Hour with NCLR (National Center for Lesbian Rights) on Thursday, Oct. 25 at Bacaro.
In Solidarity,
Aubree Peckham
