We haven't had a lot of pressing volunteer needs recently, so I skipped an email. But now we're ready to take action and we need your help!
Pridefest is just around the corner! This is mildly terrifying because we will need almost 50 volunteers to help with the event. If you have not gotten involved yet, now is your chance. We will need some LEAD volunteers, and a multitude of other volunteers to help out with this year's event so it will be AWESOME.
Upcoming Volunteer Opportunities: PRIDEFEST - LEAD VOLUNTEERS We need lead volunteers in the following areas. Your responsibilities are to oversee volunteers on your crew, help recruit volunteers for your crew, and to attend a training on Sunday, August 26th from 2-4 at the Pride House to be prepared for the event and overseeing other volunteers. In the past this has been done in Illustrator, but can be done in a different design program if you have a different skill. We have the map from last year (in Illustrator) for you to work from or you can start from scratch. This will be a minimal time commitment, but leading up to pride we'll probably have lots of changes so someone who can make quick changes will be ideal! Email Chelsea at coneil@outboulder.org. OUTREACH HELP - FLYERING
Volunteers are needed to post flyers provided to you around Boulder County, primarily the city of Boulder. These can be posted at coffee shops, restaurants, on Pearl Street, Naropa and CU, and other targeted locations dependent on the particular flyer. 1 hour per week on your own time, at your own leisure. We need help with creating facebook events. We can show you how to get information from our website to create facebook events and then invite our staff so we can invite lots of people. This is a fun and easy way to volunteer. For more info, contact Jen: jspolnik@outboulder.org HAPPY HOUR COORDINATOR 
Do you love beer? I do! Help us coordinate our monthly happy hour events. Secure the venue and talk to the owners, put it on the online calendar, create a facebook event, invite your friends, and then bring the tabling supplies and accept donations. That's all you have to do. Do it monthly or one time. Can you put together simple flyers and graphics? We are looking for design help for flyers on occasion (perhaps 2 a month). If you would love to volunteer for us in this capacity, please contact Jen, jspolnik@outboulder.org. HOUSEKEEPING ASSISTANT We would like to find someone to come weekly for about 2 hours per week.
