Greetings!

It is evident many of you have taken your New Year's resolutions seriously! The dynamic energy has continued throughout the club over the past month. It is exciting to see you working out with our new equipment, trying new fitness classes, swimming a few laps in the pool, or enjoying a set of tennis with friends.

We all know how important it is to incorporate new and different exercise modalities into our workouts. The staff at Liberty is here to help you keep it fresh. If you have any questions regarding any of our fitness, small group, tennis or swimming programs, do not hesitate to stop in my office, or at the front desk. We're committed to help you achieve your fitness goals.

In good health,

Jane Nieman

Club Manager

Parenting in a Digital Age

teen texting Is texting and social media hurting your child? During the month of April, Liberty will be hosting a workshop presented by Washtenaw Area Council for Children. The workshop will focus on the impact of digital connectivity on today's youth and their future. Trained facilitators will discuss social networking, your child's digital reputation, sexting, cyberbullying, online predators and privacy and ethics.  Parents will be provided tools to help them keep their kids safe online.

The workshop will be available for our members on Saturday, April 13 at 12pm or on Tuesday, April 16 at 12pm. The workshop will be approximately one and one-half hours in length. Please register at the front desk, concierge or online.

While the workshop is complimentary, donations will be accepted throughout the month of April. You may place a monetary donation on your Liberty account. The suggested donation is $15; however, all donations will help support the mission of Washtenaw Area Council for Children. Make your donation at the front desk or in the TreeHouse and receive a complimentary pinwheel to give to a child that you love!
