Seven runners are returning to the team after having their race cut short by the tragic bombings at last year's Boston Marathon. We're honored they have chosen to run for us again!
 
We're also grateful to the John Hancock Non-Profit Marathon Program for granting TCR eight additional bibs for the 2014 Boston Marathon.

Upcoming Volunteer Training
Are you interested in volunteering in peer support groups at The Children's Room? 
 
Our next volunteer training will be held in January 2014. 
 
With the guidance and supervision of our professional staff, trained Volunteer Facilitators are valued and integral members of our bi-weekly Family Peer Support Groups, serving children, teens and families.
 
This is a mandatory training for anyone interested in applying as a Volunteer Facilitator.

  • The Arlington Fossils soccer team (pictured at right) for donating proceeds from their annual charity match to TCR.
  • Michael and Betsy Pridham and ServPro of Cambridge/Belmont for keeping our house clean and fresh for our families and always being there for us when we need them.
  • "Get Your Rock On" for donating proceeds to TCR from their event held in Arlington last month.
  • All our gifted, reliable, caring volunteers (close to 100!), without whom we could not reach nearly as many children and families... thank you one and all. 

The Children's Room has partnered with Donate for Charity to make it fast and easy to donate your old vehicle to TCR. Your vehicle will be picked up - free of charge! - from anywhere and TCR will receive a donation in the amount of the vehicle's value.
