Blog Highlight:
A Greater Fire by Rabbi Judy Schindler
RabbiJudySept09
This past Wednesday,
the Briar Creek Baptist Church was a victim of arson. That is the reason that I (and about a dozen other visitors) chose to worship there this past Sunday morning. With dance, songs, timbrels, preaching, praise, and prayer they offered gratitude. Read some of their inspiring messages here.

In Case You Missed It: The Voice

In the July edition of The Voice, Mark and Laura Lewin talk about giving in their own words. You can also catch up on Cantor Mary's blog about making TBE a "Blue Zone", Jered Mond, AKA The Food Dude, creating a more sustainable congregation, Judaism travels and the latest on the Senior Rabbi Search.

Coming Up: It Is Easy Being Green

Our Building Property & Grounds Committee is forming The Green Team, a subcommittee that will focus on reducing the Temple's carbon footprint and becoming a more sustainable congregation. All congregants interested in these green initiatives are invited to attend the kickoff meeting at TBE on July 13 at 7:00pm. To RSVP and for more information, please contact Laura Bernstein.
