Register now for the Canadian Hypertension Congress! 

  

 The congress program will feature three streams of daily programming with topics of relevance to your specific practice and research interests.

 

Research Policy Symposium will focus on the latest challenges in vascular health research with presentations by Jean Rouleau and Salim Yusuf.

 

Canadian Hypertension Education Program (CHEP) Symposium will present the 2013 draft CHEP recommendations.

 

Presented in association with the Heart & Stroke Foundation, the Core Curriculum will welcome leading specialists on topics ranging from resistant hypertension, atrial fibrillation and cardiovascular risk management to diabetes, smoking cessation and erectile dysfunction.

 

PLUS accredited symposia, workshops, poster sessions and state-of-the-art lectures from leading scientists!

Reducing the Sodium Intake of Canadians 

In June the conference of Provincial-Territorial ministries of Health released the report, Reducing the Sodium Intake of Canadians: A provincial and territorial report on the progress and recommended further action. Provinces and territories have adopted the goal of lowering the average sodium intake of Canadians to 2300 mg per day by 2016.
