 Training offered to help vets
of Iraq, Afghanistan wars re-enter civilian life Soldiers in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were trained as warriors, to complete difficult tasks in frightening and dangerous circumstances. Now many of those veterans have finished their service, returned to the United States and found that re-entering civilian life is a challenge that makes them feel much of their purpose and many of their relationships have been lost. Help is available, according to Caldwell Williams, whose IA (Iraq-Afghanistan) Veteran Transition Training program will offer a three-day intensive training Jan. 14 - 16 at the Cathedral Center of St. Paul for veterans returning to the civilian world.
