We already sent out a combined December/January full newsletter last month, but we wanted to send a mini-newsletter this month with a few notes and reminders, the biggest one being that we are no longer issuing trade credit for used books as of January 1st. Please check with us the next time you're in the store to see if you have a balance you need to spend. Unused credit that is more than 5 years old will eventually be expired out of our system and remitted to the SC Treasurer's Unclaimed Property Office.
I'm also looking for two elementary schools that would be willing to host acclaimed author Sherman Alexie for his new picture book, Thunder Boy Jr., in May (likely May 17th). Any interested schools should contact me to learn all the details. Everyone else save that date on your calendar for a free evening event for the general public, details to come.
In the meantime, check out our event schedule below and be sure to add some of these fabulous events to your calendar!
Please note that Fiction Addiction will be closed Tuesday, January 26th, while Jill and Melissa are at Winter Institute in Denver.
