How much do you trust Fiction Addiction? Will you take another trust fall with us? I have fallen in love with another debut novel that I'm afraid not enough people will find on the shelf. It is publishing on May 19th for $17.99. I know that many of you will love it as well, but again I'm afraid that the cover/title will turn you off. So what I want to know is whether you'll again agree to pre-order this book from us, sight unseen, just based on our love for it. We will again give you a full money-back guarantee if you read it but don't love it as much as we have. To take part in this trust fall challenge, pre-order your book online or call the store at 864-675-0540 with your payment information. We dare you. :)

The $10 ticket is for standing room, admits one to the event, and is redeemable for $10 off any purchase that evening. If our seats do not sell out, we will seat standing room customers in the order they signed up.

A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
When 19-year-old huntress Feyre kills a wolf in the woods, a beast-like creature arrives to demand retribution for it. Dragged to a treacherous magical land from legend, Feyre discovers that her captor is not an animal, but Tamlin -- one of the lethal, immortal faeries who once ruled their world. As she dwells on his estate, her feelings for Tamlin transform from icy hostility into a fiery passion that burns through every lie and warning she's been told about the world of the Fae. But an ancient, wicked shadow over the faerie lands is growing, and Feyre must find a way to stop it...or doom Tamlin and his world forever.

Wolf by Mo Hayder
Mo Hayder has written the ultimate story of psychological terror and horror. It is a riveting, bone-chilling tale about a family held hostage in their English country manor. This story of such evil doings will haunt you for long after you've finished and you will never suspect the shocking ending.... It will leave you breathless!

Flying Shoes by Lisa Howorth
Lisa Howorth deftly weaves together a beautiful story of the South, family, relationships, racial issues, and unresolved guilt. She takes seemingly unrelated strands of stories of people who are important in Mary Byrd's life and intertwines them until you understand how the unsolved murder of Mary Byrd's young brother 30 years ago and the guilt she has carried around since then have made her the cynical, needy, self-destructive, funny, and very likable character she is today.

The Sound of Glass by Karen White
This is a wonderful story of family, loss, secrets, and redemption. Karen White is a masterful storyteller with an attention to detail that adds so much depth to the story. I can almost smell the low-tide debris and feel the sweltering Beaufort summer heat. Spousal abuse is a tough subject to tackle, but this story of women and the cycle of abuse is compelling and educational. This should be on everyone's summer reading list.

Openly Straight by Bill Konigsberg
This is a different take on the coming-out story. It shines a light on the fact that even when we accept others' differences, even celebrate them, sometimes it can be hard to see past the "labels" to what they really want. But as Rafe finds out, it's just as hard, if not more so, to deny something that's innately a part of you. While I wished for a different ending for Rafe, I was glad to have read this book for the perspective, if nothing else.
