-Manipulators and Thieves in Hayward

Dear Hayward Advocates and Supporters,

A few months ago, I shared with you a glimpse of what a proposed project named "Lincoln Landing" might look like in downtown Hayward. This week, Hayward got some media attention.

Anna May on a proposed Downtown Hayward project
Along with other downtown Hayward residents, I had an opportunity to weigh in about the project.
Residents and business owners
who have spoken about the project have some very different perspectives and have shared valid concerns. CLICK HERE for the video from last month's Planning Commission meeting.

What do YOU think about the proposed development?
I'd love to hear your feedback.

Matt McGrath
for City Council
Running for public office is a months-long interview process, at minimum. Every candidate who steps up to run a legitimate campaign sacrifices time, family and financial resources to be successful. I have great respect for candidates who step up to run for public office, especially if they're running for the right reasons.

I'm supporting Matt McGrath for Hayward City Council because he isn't a politician-type. He hasn't aspired to "be" a council member, he simply wants to continue serving the community.
M&Ms 4 Matt McGrath!

Matt McGrath has a background both as a union laborer AND management. This is important for having a balanced view of how City business should be handled.

Matt has proven to be a stable force in Hayward over many decades. He also served our country as a veteran of our armed forces. What more can we ask?

Manipulators and Thieves:
SantaCon Hayward sponsored dogs

Pit bulls successfully fill the role of companion dogspolice dogs  and therapy dogs.

Pit bulls are also manipulators and thieves, making us fall in love with them and stealing our hearts. I have been duped by two such creatures who now hold a place in my heart and home.

Stop by the adoption event and I'll be happy to tell you all I know about these beautiful creatures!

Yogdevi was chosen among a pool of Mt. Eden High School students and is the very first high school student to ever be allowed into the Leadership Hayward program. My alumni association is proud to be instrumental in making this happen for the first time along with the support of the Hayward Chamber of Commerce.
