November 5, 2014

Dear Parents,

We have been hard at work planning for next school year already.  We formed a committee of teachers to look at our curriculum cycle so we can update each subject area with new textbooks and materials every five years.  The budgeting process for 2015-16 begins this month.  Starting Thursday, November 13, we will ask each family to re-enroll for next school year.  This will help guide the budgeting process.  It's important to re-enroll as soon as possible to secure your place and give us a good estimation for tuition dollars, as this will be a strong basis for our tuition base for next school year.

We will open up registration for non-school families in mid-December.  You are the best marketers of our school, so please spread the word.  Invite neighbors and families to visit us and fill out an application.

On another note, Ms.Hayes, Ms. Lewandowski, and I will be out of the building Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday next week.  St. Cletus School will be honored at festivities in Washington, D.C.  The three of us will be present to accept our Blue Ribbon Award.  We are very excited!  In our absence, Fr. Bob will oversee the school with the help of Christy Schaefer (1st grade teacher).

Reminder...make good use of our Manna Program.  It is a win-win for you and for our school!  Please join our Manna chairperson tonight, November 5, to learn how to navigate the new website: ShopWithScrip.com.  You will learn how to register, set up a PrestoPay account, purchase gift cards, create e-cards (ScripNow), and reload gift cards.  They are offering an evening session at 7:00 p.m. tonight in Room 213, which will run approximately one hour.  For questions, please e-mail Rosanne Welenc or call (630) 306-1513.

Blessings to all,

Jolene Hillgoth

President
