Greetings!

In my last newsletter, There's an app for that!, I shared smartphone apps that can make your life easier and more fun. If you tried some of these and would like to share your experience or recommend others, please email me.

In this issue, I'll share some website wisdom.
  • Mindbloom combines behavioral science, personalized interactive media, and fun social gaming techniques for personal growth.
  • Happy Rambles is an online gratitude journal. Set the time each day to receive an email that says, "What are you grateful for today?" (Mine comes at 4 pm.) Simply reply back and your answers are stored in a private journal that you can reference whenever you need a pick-me-up. For me, the greatest value comes from that daily reminder to stop, think about what's going right and give thanks.
  • TEDx provides an uplifting, empowering alternative
to watching the evening news. These brief talks (no more than 18 minutes) of "ideas worth spreading" will inspire you to pursue your own passions and purpose. Check out my latest favorite on the pursuit of work-life balance by my speaking colleague Dan Thurmon. You'll love it!

What wise websites do you recommend to make your life easier and more fun?
