Iberian Ambassadors of the Week
  

 

Fran Thibodeaux, executive director of IPCVB, and Sandra Davis, owner of the KONRIKO®/Conrad Rice Mill, were installed respectively as past chairman and member of the Louisiana Travel Promotion Association (LTPA) Board of Directors at the association's annual meeting on Friday, June 28 at Nottoway Plantation Resort in White Castle, La. Pictured from left are: Margaret Melancon, vice-chairman of the Iberia Parish Tourist Commission; Sandra Davis; Fran Thibodeaux; Darnelle Delcambre, secretary/treasurer of the Tourist Commission; and Francine Garzotto, at-large member of the Tourist Commission.

Marketing & Funding Opportunities
  • Is your business French-friendly? Contact the CODOFIL (Council for the Development of French in Louisiana) to be labeled French-friendly. Any business or organization that promotes French in Louisiana and makes a solid effort to offer services in French will get the Franco Responsible logo.   • You may be eligible for an Economic Opportunity Fund from the LA Cultural Economy Foundation. The goal of the EOF grant program is to provide small seed grants (max of $2,500) to small cultural nonprofits, cultural businesses and individual cultural workers to create a new stream of income that will be self- sustaining over the long term.
