Sonoratown Opens on 8th St.

Hand made flour tortillas, mesquite-grilled carne asada, and aguas frescas are the staple menu items at the Fashion District's newest taco spot. Sonoratown serves Sonora-style tacos for only $2! (Sonora is a state in northern Mexico.) The restaurant is now open at 208 E 8th St, across from the Teddy Kelly mural. It's already been featured in Eater LA. BID staff stopped in for lunch and enjoyed a delicious meal under $10. We highly recommend it.

LA Market Week Fall / Holiday 2016
Showrooms in the Fashion District are wrapping up their last day of market week today. The Fashion District puts together a buyer's shopping guide for each market. For this market we also created a list of recommendations for first-time buyers. In addition, the LA Fashion District maintains the Lines Directory, which is updated prior to each market week.

Support Local Businesses during Construction
As many of you may have already noticed, the intersection at 9th and Main Streets has been affected by the Broadway Palace construction for quite some time. As excited as we are for our new residents, please don't forget to support our existing businesses during the construction period. We highlighted some of our favorite neighborhood spots here.
