An Underwater World Above Sea! Interactive Art Installation on Display Every Saturday
Coral Forest, an interactive art installation by LA-based artist Doron Gazit, will be on display every Saturday in the Fashion District. The art piece is composed of 13 separate larger-than-life-size "coral" pieces that can be reconfigured and displayed in various ways.
The public is invited to walk through, touch, and take selfies with the art.
Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

June Market Week: Fall II /Holiday 2016 LA Fashion Market Buyer's Guide
LA Market Week June 2016, also known as the Fall II/Holiday 2016 L.A. Fashion Market, will take place June 6th through the 9th in the LA Fashion District's designer showrooms. During market week designers and brands will debut collections for the upcoming fall and holiday seasons. Buyers are invited to view the new merchandise and place orders. LA Fashion Market is the West Coast's premier destination for contemporary fashions, including apparel, accessories and footwear.
With thousands of brands participating in LA market week, this is the place for buyers to discover new brands and create new shopping experiences.
What's Happening with Retail? Fashion District Retail Survey Underway
The LA Fashion District BID has hired MJB Consulting to conduct a retail survey for the area. The study will look at the current state of retail in the Fashion District and provide recommendations for future retail. Michael Berne of MJB Consulting will be meeting with Fashion District property owners and visiting retail businesses in the upcoming weeks.
