BID Working with City to Maintain Public Space

The LA Fashion District BID inventories the public space on a daily basis, including street lights, sidewalks, curbs, and trees. We then report any unsafe conditions to the appropriate City department. Recently, it was brought to our attention that a number of streetlights were not working and a couple of streetlight covers were broken (see photo). LA Fashion District Clean & Safe Team staff reported the issues to the City, and the City was able to repair these items within a few days. If you notice something please report it to our field office at 213-741-2661.

Overall the sentiment for the market was upbeat. Read the full Apparel News market week report here. In addition to the permanent showrooms, a number of tradeshows participated in the event including the CMC's own TRANSIT Footwear Tradeshow. You can see a recap of that show here.
