Fire at 12th Street
The LA Fire Department put out a fire in a store located at the 300 block of 12th Street near Maple Avenue in the early hours of Tuesday, July 29, 2014. The BID Safe Team assisted. Cause of the fire is under investigation.

Collections will be available to wholesale buyers at the Los Angeles Fashion Market, Monday - Thursday, August 4 - 7, 2014 in apparel showrooms buildings at 9th & Los Angeles Streets. More info here. The WALL Farmer's Market Open Every Saturday
10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
 Council Member Jose Huizar and property owners Jim Mellano and Scott Yamabe cut the grand opening ribbon at the new Farmers Market located in the Flower District on Wall and 8th Streest. Every Saturday, the certified Farmer's Market will fill the street with fresh, seasonal produce, flowers, and artisan specialties.

We met with Jeff Gould to talk about LABBC goals and services. They are looking for partners in downtown to take advantage of efficiency and upgrade projects.
