METRO Training Street Closures - March 1st, 6-7:30 p.m. 

On Saturday, March 1, 2014 METRO will be conducting crowd control training on Wall Street between 11th Street and Pico Boulevard. They will stage their vehicles on Myrtle and 15th Street. The training is scheduled to take place from approximately 6 - 7:30 p.m.

Broadway & 9th  Residential Project Update

The City Planning Department has approved the apartment complex planned for Broadway and 9th Street by downtown developer Geoff Palmer. Click here to read the full article on Curbed LA. The Downtown LA Neighborhood Council (DLANC) Planning Committee, in which LA Fashion District Managing Directory Lynn Myers serves as a board member, will recommend the project for Board approval at the next meeting.

BID Helps Minimize Protest Impact on Broadway   

A protest march on Saturday, February 22nd closed Broadway Boulevard for several hours. The BID worked directly with LAPD to coordinate efforts to minimize traffic problems for those traveling to and from the LA Fashion District. 

  

Countdown to LA Marathon - March 9, 2014 

Run from the Stadium to the Sea in this year's event. Although the 5K and 26K courses do not go through the LA Fashion District there will be multiple road closures on the date in the north side of downtown. Click here for the course map.

Broadway Dress Rehearsal Construction Update 2/21
 

All new Metro bus stops locations and service lines will be updated this week and will be completed by Sunday, March 2. With new lane configurations in place by March 3, all left hand turns will be restricted for traffic traveling southbound between 3rd to 11th streets.
