 Community Plan Update Meeting - Monday, February 3, 4-6 p.m.
The City of Los Angeles Department of City Planning invites you to participate in meetings to envision the future of Downtown LA. The meeting takes place at the Cooper Design Space, 860 S Los Angeles St. The purpose of the meetings is for participants to engage in conversation on relevant planning topics related to the future of Downtown: Urban Design, Mobility, Sustainability, Land Use, Zoning, Station Area Design, Economic Development, Livability, etc.

Safeguarding Southern California's Water Supply: Local Open House
Southland residents will have an opportunity to learn first-hand from state and federal agency officials about a comprehensive proposal designed to safeguard public water supplies from Northern California. There will be three local public open house meetings in Southern California as part of Bay Delta Conservation Plan (BDCP) statewide outreach process that will lead to a final plan:- Feb. 4 at the Los Angeles Convention Center
- Feb. 5 at the Ontario Convention Center

 LADOT Announces People St
People St is a competitive application program that provides eligible community organizations with a process to propose project locations and the information and tools to partner with the City to complete these projects. Community partners play a vital role in conducting outreach to build neighborhood support, raising funds for materials furnishings and maintenance, and providing project site management.
LADOT is offering the following 90 minute information sessions: - January 27, 2014 at 5:30 p.m., Marvin Braude Center,6262 Van Nuys Blvd., Van Nuys
- January 30, 2014 at 6 p.m., POLA High School, 250 W 5th St., San Pedro
- February 3, 2014 at 5:30 p.m., Caltrans Building, 100 South Main St., Downtown LA
- February 4, 2014 at 6 p.m., LADOT District Office, 6501 Fountain Avenue, Hollywood
- February 24, 2014 at 6:00 p.m., Mar Vista Library, 12006 Venice Blvd., Mar Vista, LA
