Join the Party: Business After Hours is Wednesday

We're hosting Business After Hours tomorrow, 5:30-7:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6 at The Carolina Inn. This is the most festive After Hours of the year; don't miss it! You'll have the chance to build relationships with fellow Chamber members and visit with our table sponsors: Inter-Faith Council for Social Service, Southern Season, Endurance Magazine, Secure Network Administration, Carolina Vein Institute, Malvin Riggins & Co., Liberty Mutual Insurance, Twig, and the Non-Profit Spotlight, TABLE.

 

After Hours is free to attend, and no registration is required. The Carolina Inn is located at 211 Pittsboro St. in Chapel Hill. Parking is available at The Carolina Inn, in the Nash lot off Pittsboro St., and at the FedEx Global Education Center at the corner of Pittsboro and McCauley Streets.

 

Need a Chamber refresher? Consider joining us for Chamber Orientation presented by Time Warner Business Class, which immediately precedes After Hours, 4-5:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 6 at The Carolina Inn. Orientation is free, but registration is required

Celebrate Business Heroes at the Hall of Fame

You're invited to celebrate the inaugural class of Chapel Hill-Carrboro Business Hall of Fame inductees at the Hall of Fame Gala and Induction Ceremony, 6:30-9:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 13 at The Carolina Inn. Tickets to the black tie gala are $200 for one or $300 for a pair and include a cocktail reception, live music, and a three-course meal. Time is running out to reserve your tickets! Register online today.

Nominate Heroes for the Salute presented by AT&T

Each year, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce recognizes the men and women who make Chapel Hill-Carrboro a thriving, healthy and sustainable community. The Salute to Community Heroes awards express the Chamber and its Partnership for a Sustainable Community's efforts to recognize and encourage volunteerism and selfless service. 

 

Nominations for the 2013 Salute to Community Heroes presented by AT&T are now open, and you are invited to submit nominations through Wednesday, Nov. 20. 


And mark your calendar to join us at the Salute presented by AT&T: 6-8 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 12 at University Mall
