Important 10:00 am - 11:30 am        LinkedIn for Beginners

Starting out with LinkedIn? Need help? Learn how to re-evaluate how you portray yourself; with some guidance, you can show your personality and "brand" in the best light and utilize LinkedIn as a great business networking tool.  This will help you become more attractive as a candidate for a new career position.  The end result will not be a substitute for a resume, but rather a complementary profile that search firms and employers will use to find out more about you, in your own words. This course is designed for those with little or no experience in LinkedIn.

Presenter:  Marc W. Halpert, LinkedIn Trainer and (LinkedIn's only Jewish) Evangelist. Since leaving the corporate world over eleven years ago, Marc has started 3 businesses, one called Connect2Collaborate, in which he uses his skills in networking and energy to train and coach others.  He is a highly respected speaker at national, regional and local conferences for small businesses and nonprofits. He trains and coaches nationwide at nonprofits, membership groups, associations, professional services firms and Inc 5000 size companies. He also volunteers as a SCORE counselor at the award-winning Norwalk, CT chapter and offers expertise in e-commerce, nonprofits and social media. He is pleased to be starting his fourth year working with jobseekers at Connect To Care.
