AT

WESTCHESTER JEWISH COMMUNITY SERVICES

Dear Friends of Connect to Care,

We are so proud of the work we've done over the past four years, and we are pleased to have helped the over 1400 individuals that have utilized C2C services.  The Westchester Connect to Care program was created by UJA Federation of NY and WJCS in 2009 to help those that were affected by the economic downturn. Given the changes in the economic landscape, we are scaling down our service delivery model to be be consistent with demand beginning on July 1, 2013. Connect to Care will continue to ensure the continuation of the essential services that so many of our clients find helpful.

Please join us for an informational meeting, on May 2 at 12:30 pm, May 8th at 2:00 pm, May 16th at 10:30 am or May 29th at 12:00 pm, for detailed information about the upcoming changes.

We want to reassure you that the core services offered through Connect to Care will remain the same. People will be able to access NYLAG financial and legal services, social work services and spiritual support through WJCS, career counseling services provided by FEGS, and access to the NYS Small Business Development Center. C2C will continue to offer workshops and support groups at convenient locations throughout the county.

The major change will be that C2C will no longer be at New King Street, in White Plains. As of July 1st, the program will be housed at WJCS in North White Plains. Given space restrictions, we will not be able to provide workstations or drop-in opportunities. While we will miss the New King Street location, be assured that the quality of professional services available to C2C will remain the same.

Connect to Care remains committed to helping members of the Westchester Jewish Community who are having difficulties with employment maximize their opportunities.

Please RSVP to connecttocare@wjcs.com to sign up for an informational meeting.
