Beginning Monday, September 14th at the ART MUSEUM and continues for 9 weeks. - It's a fun, fast-paced, sample-everything clay class in which adult students create stoneware pottery using the pottery wheel, slab roller, extruders, templates, molds, and their bare hands!

Buffalo Almanack's Fall issue comes out September 15. Buffalo Almanack is a quarterly digest of fiction and visual arts, and has featured work and interviews by Daniel Woodrell, Aimee Bender, Matt Black, and more.
This issue will feature an interview with legendary photojournalist Kenneth Jarecke, who covered the Gulf Wars for publications such as TIME and The Observer, and earned the Leica Medal of Excellence in 1992.

DOUBLE HELIX is an innovative interdisciplinary visual music performance that explores art and technology. Experience the mind-bending work of new media artist and TED Talk Presenters Petronio Benditio and vocalist/composer, Sabrina Lastman in their thirty-minute exhibitions.

Color and Character
Bindery Artist Studios Opening Reception September 18, 2015 - Mina Shelby's latest series Color and Character explores the allure of the portrait. This series of paintings sets each figure in vague, dreamlike landscapes and seeks to display both a delicate aesthetic and strong character.
The series is a study of self-image and character-who do we see ourselves to be and what does our character lead us to be and feel.

Presenting the 20th annual "Art on the Avenue" on the banks of the Wabash River on Little Turtle Waterway in historic downtown Logansport.
Over 40 artists from around the midwest will be displaying their wares on September 19, 2015 from 11:00am-5:00pm.
The festival includes live bands, dance performances, singing groups, and food from a variety of cultural backgrounds. The free 'Kids Korner" features arts and crafts for younger artists.

Food from different cultures will be available to purchase. Entertainment will include music from the band Pachanga USA. There will also be activities for children to make their own cultural crafts and to break Pinatas.

The 10 th annual Art on the Wabash, a juried art fair, will be held at West Lafayette's Tapawingo Park from 10am to 4pm, Sunday, September 20, 2015. The 46 participating artists were chosen by juror Ralph Larmann, University of Evansville professor of art.
West Lafayette's KitchenArt, The Store for Cooks, returns as sponsor of the event, which is presented by the city of West Lafayette with assistance from Tippecanoe Arts Federation.

The Tippecanoe Arts Federation is the umbrella organization and arts council for 14 counties. TAF provides educational opportunities in the visual, performing, and literary arts, outreach programs for both underserved and at-risk youth, and funding for capital and operational expenses to fellow arts organizations region wide.
