Singer-songwriter Barrett Myers is back in the studio recording a follow-up to his first album "The Coming & the Leaving." This new set of original songs, entitled "the Letting Go," encourages listeners to set aside non-essentials in order to make room for more life, love, and what truly matters.

Our 2015-16 season of Arts, Culture, and Ideas at Purdue celebrates the 75th year of Elliott Hall of Music, which will host classic and new Broadway productions Annie, 42nd Street, Once, and The Illusionists - as well as the captivating choreography of Mark Morris Dance Group. Philip Glass and other leading pianists will help dedicate our beautiful new Steinway D. All this and more at convocations.org.

Tickets will be available to purchase at the Scoreboard restaurant, the library and online for $15 per ticket beginning June 1. Participants will receive a commemorative glass to use for sampling craft beers.
Participants will sample a number of beers from Indiana craft breweries on Saturday, July 25 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Tippecanoe Music Teachers Association presents 2015 Monster Concert, a grand piano extravaganza
Thursday, June 4 at 7:00pm at Long Center -- ten grand pianos with up to 200 fingers playing simultaneously!
Over 150 area piano students from grade three through adult are featured in groups of ten to twenty pianists at a time.

Artists' Own
A public reception for 'PONDERINGS' will be held on Friday, June 5th 6-9pm. Both artists Joanne Kuhn Titolo and Bonnie Stahlecker will be present. The pieces explore interior voices and exterior expressions of words, space, and the conversations between materials. Stahlecker incorporates printmaking techniques with leather, paper, and steel. Kuhn Titolo melds natural objects and oxidized steel. The exhibition runs May 15 - June 27, at Artists' Own Gallery, 518 Main Street.

Melody Makers of Indiana, a division of Indiana Extension Homemakers Association, presents their 10th anniversary concert on June 10, 7:30 pm at Elliott Hall of Music.
Dr. Scott Buchanan, Director of Choral Activities at Indiana State University, is our Director. The state chorus was begun in 1934 under direction of Dr. Al Stewart; and is now governed by the MMIA Board of Directors.
The Indianapolis Children's Choir will also perform. Tickets $7 at the door.

Do you know a young person interested in writing?
Melissa Fraterrigo of the Lafayette Writers' Studio will be teaching two week-long creative writing camps this summer at Morton Center.
The camp for teens meets the week of June 22, and the camp for writers grades 5-7 begins July 7.
Both camps will offer young writers a place to generate ideas, write, and revise a group of poems, short fiction, or memoir.
