Local artist and Artists' Own member Sara Vanderkleed offers a 4 session ($25/session) Abstract Acrylic class for beginners and experienced painters. Choose daytime (1:30-3:30) or evening (6:30-8:30) on the second and fourth Mondays.
Classes are held in her studio 10 minutes southwest of Lafayette. Missed classes can be made up later.

The Singers close the season with choral arrangements of folk tunes from England, Canada, France, Germany, America, South America, the Phillipines, Scandinavia, and China, by arrangers including Michael Tippett, Louis Reichwein, Imant Raminsh, and Philip Lawson.
The concert will also feature the Misa Criolla by Argentinian composer Ariel Ramírez.

Artists' Own
Artists' Own Gallery presents "Ponderings," a show by Joanne Kuhn Titolo and guest artist Bonnie Stahlecker for the May 15th Gallery Walk.
Kuhn Titolo continues to explore natural elements and metal, while Stahlecker uses printmaking techniques for larger sculptures and bookforms.
A special reception will be held on Friday, June 5th, 6-9pm.
The newly renovated Artists' Own Gallery also presents new members to the community.

The Delphi Opera House Gallery of Contemporary Art is pleased to announce the opening of the inaugural Opera House Gallery Photography Show.
The show is currently running and will conclude on May 16th with a reception from 7:00-9:00.
Participating artists come from a large geographic area including Lafayette and Indianapolis. Gallery hours are 11:00 til 4:00, Wednesday through Saturday.

Guided tours of the historic Haan Mansion Museum feature important paintings by early Indiana artists, including TC Steele, George Winter and others.

Wabash Valley Youth Symphony
The Wabash Valley Youth Symphony Spring concert features internationally acclaimed bassoon soloist Dr. Catherine Marchese in Mozart's concerto KV 191.
Also included on the program are Borodin Symphony No.2 and Adams' Chairman Dances, Foxtrot for Orchestra.
Director Jose Valencia will lead the orchestra at 7:00pm, Sunday, May 17 in the Long Center for the Performing Arts.
