The 1st Annual Ryan Job, Navy SEAL Challenge:
Individuals, corporations, the CrossFit nation, and teams from Australia to Connecticut joined
Ryan J
Ryan Job returning from the summit of Mt. Rainier
together to honor our friend in the 1st Annual Ryan Job, Navy SEAL Challenge

The virtual event hosted on Croudrise, an online fundraising and event management website, was a huge success! Participants donated $10 or more each to take part in the challenge. Together the group raised $7,000 to benefit Camp Patriot.

Ryan Job was a Navy SEAL who was wounded and made blind while on a mission in Iraq. He was a member of the 2008 Camp Patriot Mt. Rainier Summit Challenge Team. Ryan trained very hard to reach the summit of Mt. Rainier and to honor his legacy, we made his training session into a fundraising and awareness campaign to benefit wounded veterans and Camp Patriot

Members of the Navy SEAL community, corporations, police, fire fighters, CrossFit athletes, individuals and friends from across the globe came together in a virtual training session. Participants completed the same training session that Ryan did weekly to prepare for his Mt. Rainier summit challenge.

Participants took on Ryan's training session in small groups at their gyms, homes, back yards, parks and military facilities.

Ryan's picture and story was hung on the wall for inspiration as 100's of people pulled, pushed, lunged, rowed and ran to honor a guy who never quit and never gave up.

"We had 109 people do the "Ryan Job". Thank you so much for honoring an awesome warrior like Ryan. He is missed by all that knew and loved him. Long live the brotherhood!"

About Ryan:
Ryan was raised in Washington. He was a high school athlete who loved to Ryan and Trey hunt and had a passion for flying. He earned his private pilots licence about the same time he received his drivers license. His dream was to become a Navy SEAL then a fighter pilot, to marry a beautiful woman and live on a Ranch with a hoard of kids. Ryan graduated from Issaquah High School in 1999 then attended the University of Washington for 3 years before enlisting in the Navy in 2002. He completed Navy boot camp and reported to BUDS Training, a year later he had become one of the elite; a Navy SEAL. In April 2006 he deployed to Ramadi, Al Anbar, Iraq as a member of SEAL Team 3, Task Unit Bruiser. During this time Ramadi was the most dangerous place in the world.
