This quarter's 3 Pack includes:

• GL Out of Balance Report -- allows you to select a posting date range and identify any entries posted to the GL that were out of balance.  This report will quickly identify any problems, trends, etc so that you can take corrective action and ensure that you financial statements remain in balance! 
• Comparative Sales Analysis -- Items or Customers -- allow
  s you to select any two periods (for example, 1 month this year vs 1 month last year, or first six months this year vs last six months this year, etc). Report options allow you to run the report and compare items or customers, as well as determining how the report is sorted.  The sample report is based on customers, but the report can also be run based on items 
• Customer-Item Cross Tab Report-- allows you to see what items you've sold to a customer or which customers you've sold items to.  There is a report option to show quantities sold or dollars sold for a date range that you choose.  This report is invaluable in identifying top customers and/or top items.  The sample report is showing what items have been sold to a customer, but the report could have easily been run to show what customers have bought the item

Beginning with the 2013 release of Sage 100 ERP, is a new feature called Sage Advisor.  This feature runs on the server where Sage 100 ERP was installed and will monitor when program updates (bug fixes) or upgrades (major releases) are made available.  Although this feature has been tested by Sage development resources, we do not recommend downloading or installing updates using Sage Advisor.  If you think that the update/upgrade might be something that is useful or necessary, you can download and install yourself or have us do this for you; we do not like the idea of something being magically installed while we sleep!  This advice is especially important if you have any modifications or add-ons installed to your Sage 100 ERP software.
