Mother's Day Weekend: Home Tour & Much More
This Sunday is Mother's Day! Treat your mom to a weekend downtown with events, shopping, and brunch.
On Saturday, May 11th, from 11 am-4 pm, explore Downtown Crossing's new look with "Downtown: Home Where The Heart Is," a self-guided home tour in Downtown Crossing hosted by the Downtown Boston BID.
Attendees will see what it's like to live downtown in residences of all shapes and sizes, including 45 PROVINCE, The Kensington, The Devonshire, The Millennium Place model unit, and more. For tickets and more information, please visit here.There's no place like home!

Filene's Construction Update
Millennium Partners has catalyzed construction at the former Filene's site, with workers having removed the canvas wrap from the Burnham Building and begun restoration of the 100-year-old Beaux Arts masterpiece.
Additional fencing is scheduled to go up around the Burnham Building perimeter this week. We will continue to provide updates as this exciting project continues!

St. Paul's Unveils New Look
St. Paul's Cathedral (138 Tremont St.) has recently unveiled its new pediment, "Ship Of Pearl," by artist Donald Lipski. Filling in a portico that had been blank for nearly two centuries, the pediment is part of a $4 million restoration of the cathedral.
The church is hosting an inaugural lighting ceremony this Wednesday, May 8th, at 6 pm. The free event will include food, music, and "surprises" for all ages; call 617-482-4826 for more info.

Hyatt Regency Launches Neighborhood Series
The Hyatt Regency Boston welcomes the return of warm weather and all the new residents coming into downtown with a new Neighborhood Event Series that stretches through the summer.
Kicking things off is a Wine-Makers Dinner, featuring Markham Vineyards, to take place this Thursday at 5:30 pm. Twenty percent of the proceeds will go to Boston Children's Hospital.
Other can't-miss events at the Hyatt this summer include the annual grand opening of the Avenue One Terrace, scheduled for Thursday, May 23rd, at 5:30 pm, and the annual Over The Edge fundraiser for Massachusetts Special Olympics, which will take place Saturday, July 20th, at 8 am. First 2013 Block Party Set For Thursday
Back for its fifth year, the Boston Calling Downtown Crossing Block Parties will return beginning this Thursday, May 9th, at 5 pm, on Summer St. (outside Macy's), weather permitting. The weekly Block Parties will feature house bands like the Swinging Johnsons and Hot Like Fire (above). Local restaurants will provide free appetizers, and moderately-priced beer & wine selections will be available. Entrance is free; attendees must be 21+ (ID required).
