Plan Your Mother's Day Downtown: May 11th & 12th Events
Mother Day's weekend is right around the corner, and downtown will be buzzing with all sorts of fun, family-friendly activities to help celebrate mothers everywhere. Here's a run-down of events happening in the neighborhood next weekend.
Saturday, May 11th:
Begin your weekend at "Downtown: Home Where The Heart Is,"
a self-guided walking tour showcasing a unique array of residential
lifestyle options in the neighborhood.
 H omeowners throughout Downtown Crossing will be opening their doors from 11 am-4 pm, with 49 Social restaurant serving as a hospitality suite throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased here. Attendees who bring their mother on the tourwill receive a 10% discount. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the One Fund Boston. After the tour, take your mother shopping at the downtown Macy's. Starting Friday, May 10th, the department store will be honoring mothers with a special all-day " One Day Sale." Shoppers will receive a complimentary Mother's Day gift wrap with a qualifying purchase.
Sunday, May 12th:
Treat your mom to Sunday brunch downtown! Three downtown
establishments are offering a Mother's Day brunch. The Hyatt Regency
is hosting a Mother's Day brunch (11 am-3 pm) as part of its inaugural Neighborhood Event Series.
