Listening to the Silence by Mariabruna Sirabella M.F.T. SoulCollage Facilitator/Trainer A few thoughts about meeting the Transpersonal Source card, one of the three SoulCollage Cards that represent the One, while the rest are manifestations of the Many. Whenever I work with my deck of my Many SoulCollage cards and pull out the Transpersonal cards to be placed at the center of the table, I am reminded of the peculiar relationship I have with the Silent Threesome. The Card you see alongside this article is my fourth Source Card. How is it possible that I keep making new cards for the most unchangeable presence in my deck? As shockingly as it may seem I have been compelled to trust my intuition and process and let these cards emerge from the quietest and most alive recess of my soul. It is not the Source that changes. It is me. My relationship with the Source is so central in my life that I don't seem to find lasting satisfaction in the visual expression I manifest for it. Eventually a new Transpersonal card enters the birth canal of my imagination and does not rest until it finds its way into my deck. This is not my usual MO. In my deck there are only three other cards with "doubles": my Inner Critic and my Heart Chakra whose appearance followed a completely different process; and, guess...my SoulEssence, another one of the three Transpersonal Cards. In general, in SoulCollage we spend a lot more time engaged in felicitous or fastidious dealings with the Many. And we might spend as little as none in the awareness of the One, even if we are immersed in it at all times. For the longest time I could not get myself to make a Source card. Nothing was good enough. If I opened up to an image, I immediately discovered a different one that represented another facet of my tuning into the One. I finally glued a card only to discover that it talked, and with a thunderous voice to boot. It ended up representing the Big Bang. Close to Source, if you wish, but still too far. I had to surrender back then, and I still have to now. I had to listen to the Silence and let my song change; let the colors and shapes and images refine themselves, move closer to the essence they mystically resonate with. Life and experiences; attention, patience, persistence, struggles and resilience reshape and evolve my Neters. But the Silence transforms me. Who knows for how long I will continue to make new Source cards. Mariabruna Sirabella is a CA Marriage and Family Therapist in Watsonville, CA. Unveiling the Three Faces of Silence in the Transpersonal Cards
Date: Saturdays, 5/4, 5/11 and 5/25 - 4.5 hours Time: 1-2:30 pm PT Cost: $99 A 3 part course - 4.5 CEUs
Presenter: Mariabruna Sirabella, M.F.T.
Description: We have an unlimited number of SoulCollage Cards, but we only have three Transpersonal cards in our decks. They are few, but so important. They represent a Presence that cannot be readily defined nor contained, but that may be felt everywhere as the underlying vibration of creation. When we make these three cards to acknowledge this Presence, we have to agree to represent what is actually without form or image paradoxically by using form and image. There are two main portals of entry into manifestation, and the Presenter will speak about how that these two are subtly reflected in how people develop their decks or in their relationship with their cards. One portal is from the Many who wish to discover their longing for the One, and the other entrance is from the perspective of the One who sometimes reluctantly needs to learn how to live in the Many. The class will also involve guided visualization, journaling, question, answer, and comment, and sharing in partners and small groups. While it is interesting for the mind to work on definitions of the Transpersonal, a task that has already consumed rivers of ink in many traditions, it is a much more rewarding enterprise to tune ourselves to its immensity and open to an experience of perception of the Totality. Beyond the Larger Story there is the place of no-story, the place for which we have no words, but we can touch through our inner knowing.

Imagine spending a creative weekend beginning to collage (or continuing to collage) your own deck of imaginal cards with the founder of SoulCollage. You will browse through piles of images and find those that call to you. You will collage cards that depict your personality parts, your archetypal guides, your energetic companion animals, and even some of the sentient beings that have loved, taught, and challenged you. You will be surprised by the wisdom that bubbles up from your deep soul when you step imaginatively into an image and speak to a question from this new perspective. A supportive community listening as witnesses and scribing your words will help make this a memorable experience. This process is based on the work of C.G. Jung, James Hillman, psychosynthesis, and more. Click to find out more or to register.
SoulCollage and the New Paradigm
May 19 - 24, 2013 CEUs available for MFTs & LCSWs
During this workshop participants will collage personal cards, speak to questions from their card images in answer to important questions and discover firsthand how this creative practice reflects vital elements of the dawning paradigm. Collage itself is a metaphor for what millions of people are, right now around the world, calling into reality: a new, cosmic unity. With collage we take separated, seemingly unrelated images, and find how they fit together into a beautiful and balanced unity.
SoulCollage is deceptively simple; no special artistic talent is needed. And still it can jostle and wake up a part of the human soul which this dying paradigm has ignored or minimized: our creative core. Arising in the new paradigm must be the compassionate, heart energy of creative souls.
