Dr. Scott Foster, Medical Director, Specialty Care
Dear Colleagues,

A few weeks ago, Doug Watson and I wrote to let you know that we were working closely with members of MGLT to finalize the PHMG FY 15 -16 Operational Plan. We promised that it would be available for review by the end of October and I am pleased to say we are well on track.

As of this past week, the plan has already begun to circulate among the Physician Advisory Councils. Later today, all members of the PHMG Leadership Forum will receive a copy in preparation for discussion at the Leadership Forum on Oct. 31, and the plan will go in to general circulation shortly thereafter.

The whole team is incredibly proud of the work done so far and of the direction we are planning to take next. We have used the input of many stakeholders to get here and paid extra attention to what we heard directly from the Provider and Caregiver Pulse surveys earlier in the year. We hope you see the spirit of improvement in many aspects of PHMG as a result.

Over the coming weeks, the intention is to use the plan documents as a means to engage with you in discussion about the direction of PHMG. This is a broad opportunity for those impacted by the plan to weigh in and participate in refining it - it is not set in stone so we want to hear what you think! This is a critical step in making sure we are on target and making our medical group a place we can all be proud of. Without you and your teams, there simply is no PHMG. On behalf of MGLT, I commit to you that your input will be heard and the plan will be implemented.
