PeaceHealth and United General Medical Center completed an alliance this past Tuesday and signed a 30-year operating agreement.
United General's hospital and clinics are vital to Sedro-Woolley, a community in northwest Washington just south of Bellingham. I'm excited that PeaceHealth Medical Group now takes part in serving Skagit County to provide new access to specialized and innovative health care. Our goal as a medical group is to support the existing primary care providers and to assist with recruiting new providers to the community.
Additionally, PHMG will continue to send specialists to clinics in the area to increase the number of services available to patients in the community. Several PHMG providers in the Northwest Network have been providing GI, pulmonary and sleep services. We'll soon add orthopedics in this region.
Please join me in welcoming United General to our PeaceHealth family.

PatientConnection Contest Update
|
Over 5,000 activations in March
|
As predicted with their recent go live, we have a complete sweep for most sign-ups in March going to Fisher's Landing in Vancouver. Our top signer-upper in March was Patricia Johnston, MA with 79 activations! Eugene's Santa Clara clinic has already met their quota of 100 activations per provider with over 600 new patients enrolled in the first five weeks of the contest. The three providers with the most new activations for the month of March are:
- Jose Sioco, MD (Santa Clara)
- Tricia Wooden, MD (Fisher's Landing)
- Michael Bartlett, MD (St. Johns, Longview)
Additionally, HIM and the Help Desk are doing a great job signing up patients using activation codes from After-Visit Summaries and granting proxy access. Our PatientConnection Contest continues through the end of June with the goal of 50,000 patient activations. As of April 3, there are 26,500 total activations.

Provider Experience Survey
|
New survey coming soon
|
Many PHMG providers will recall our 2012 provider experience survey. Through the survey, physicians and allied health professionals were given the opportunity to rate their experience and comment on their level of satisfaction as PeaceHealth providers.
Beginning the week of April 28, we're launching a brief survey as a follow up to the initial survey. We want to take the pulse of our providers.
Please stay tuned for more info on this "Pulse Survey" as we get closer to the survey period.
