Gaining Momentum
GET THE BALL ROLLING

I'm part of a volunteer organization that has gone through a bit of a slump over the past few years. We found ourselves begging for board members and scraping by financially. The leadership team struggled to agree on a direction. Priorities were cloudy.

Have you ever found yourself in the situation of NOT having momentum for change? When it feels like you are spinning your wheels but not making progress?

And then, just like that, our team started gaining momentum. Attendance at board meetings is now consistently high, our event calendar is clearly defined, and everyone keeps talking about our "momentum."  This momentum thing feels great!

I can't help reflect: How did this happen? What changed? How did we gain this kind of momentum?  Here are a few observations that may be helpful if you and your team are in need of momentum:

NEW WEBSITE, NEW TOOLS

Have you ever bitten off more than you can chew?  Well, that's what we've done.

We've been overwhelmed by the response to our announcements about our new licensed training products. In fact, because of the interest we've received, the pressure is on to do it the right way. That's led us to delay the implementation of the Painless Performance Conversations and Evaluations Training Systems in order to create a website that will have the capacity to deliver the goods.

If you've already expressed interest in the Painless Performance Management tools, we will let you know as soon as the new system is up and running.

It's going to be really cool once it's all done, so please stay tuned!
