Action Needed: Broadband Demand Survey

Your urgent action is needed in encouraging area residents and business to respond to the Public Service Commission of Wisconsin's (PSC) Broadband Demand Survey. Below please find a link to electronic versions of information you may have recently received by hard copy relating to this initiative.
The PSC, in cooperation with LinkWISCONSIN, has developed a broadband demand survey that is intended to provide a detailed picture of speeds, availability and access to broadband in Wisconsin with the ultimate goal of working with internet service providers (ISPs) to provide access in areas of the state that are identified as being unserved and underserved.

The deadline for completing the survey is August 15, 2013.

PDPW; WCA Host On-the-Farm Twilight Meetings

On-The-Farm Agriculture Community Engagement Twilight Meetings are an opportunity to bring together local community leaders and dairy producers to learn together and discuss important issues. These meetings are brought to you by the Wisconsin Counties Association, Wisconsin Towns Association and the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin.

This year's dates will be held August 17-August 29 on farms around the state.

"This is a free, open-invitation to community leaders, elected officials, conservation officials, dairy and livestock producers and community members interested in learning from each other so Wisconsin communities can be vibrant and green," states Shelly Mayer, Executive Director of PDPW.

Those attending an ACE twilight meeting will be treated to a 60-minute tour of the hosting dairy followed by a relaxed discussion and ice cream. The discussion will provide a platform for open communication about issues important to our communities.
