Fall is certainly on the way. How do we know? School's back in session, football is again the talk of the town and our beer section is stocked with Ocktoberfest and Harvest ales. With Fall, we've got lots to celebrate - certainly that we made it through a blistering Summer and we can rejoice to those cool nights and temperate days promised in the upcoming weeks.
With 3 home football games in the next three weeks, please think of Sun Singer for all your tailgating supplies - from Bloody Mary mix, to all your favorite wine and beer, plus our Gourmet Deli with all the makings for great snacks and sandwiches. IT'S A REVOLUTION
Beers of Distinction
 OLVISHOLT BRUGGHUS Lava, Iceland
Smoked Imperial Stout: Full bodied, pitch black beer with a thick brown head. Sweet with chocolate and roasted malt in the flavor. The aftertaste is roasted malt, smoke and warming alcohol. Aroma is smoke, chocolate and bit of alcohol.
The active volcano Hekla is visible from the brew house door and occasionally, eruptions are visible from the Ölvisholt farm. The bottle label resembles the view from the brew house door when an eruption occurs.
 SIERRA NEVADA Brux Domesticated Wild Ale, California
A collaboration between the Sierra Nevada and Russian River brewing companies. Created at Sierra Nevada's Chico, Calif., brewery, BRUX is an ale fermented with Belgian yeast and finished by a secondary bottle fermentation with the Brettanomyces bruxellensis yeast. This creates a dry and complex copper-colored beer with slightly tart notes of green grass, pear, spice and lemon.

South Bend Chocolates got its start making chocolates under a license from the University of Notre Dame. They now makes licensed chocolates for Indiana University, Purdue University and the University of Michigan. They also wholesale their high-quality line of chocolates to confectionery stores, gift shops, gourmet food stores, coffee shops and gift basket companies throughout the country.

Not quite like Mom's pumpkin pie, but close. Cinnamon, nutmeg, chocolate, and pretzels blended to perfection.
