HELP RUDY
GET BACK IN THE GAME.

Rudy

Dear ,

We need your help to give Rudy, our latest victim of cruelty, the good life he deserves.  Rudy was found hobbling with a broken leg in a crude splint.  It is estimated that Rudy had been hobbling along on his broken limb for over a week, greatly complicating the fracture and making any chance of properly setting the bones impossible.

Rudy needs his leg amputated and we're turning to the Roo Bee Cruelty Fund to finance the necessary veterinary procedures."Failure to provide veterinary care" is animal cruelty in Arizona and it is clear that the individual or individuals who left Rudy to fend for himself did him a grave disservice. Watch Rudy's video.

Please give to our Roo Bee Cruelty Fund so we'll be able to give Rudy and other victims of animal cruelty the chance they deserve to live the good life.

Remember, save one until there are none.

Sincerely,

Edward Snook

P.S. Rudy's surgery and post-op care will run around $2,000.  Would raising the full amount by midnight tonight be too ambitious of a goal? Not for Rudy.

No amount is too small.  Let's do this.

Media Pet of the Week:  Donkey

Donkey

Donkey is about three months old. He's been neutered and has his first series of shots, rabies vaccine, and a microchip. Donkey was found and brought into our shelter without a collar or tags. Worst of all, no one ever came to say, "Hey Donkey, let's go home!". Sadly, the missing owners who never show up to find their dog is a reality here at HSOY. So our mission again this week is to find Donkey and many more of our adoptable cats and dogs their forever homes! And, as always, to spread the word about how important it is to spay and neuter your animals.

June is Adopt a Cat Month
Adopt two for the price of one.

Kittens

Every year, the Humane Society of Yuma joins animal shelters across the country in recognizing June as Adopt a Shelter Cat Month.  June is the cruelest month of kitten season and in hopes of alleviating the tragedy, two cats may be adopted for the fees of a single adoption.

Our cat room is filled with cutest kittens waiting for you to take them and a buddy home.  So take some time this Memorial Day weekend to sit down with your furry children and prepare them for the arrival of more fluffy siblings.
Final week of Round Table Pizza's "Pizza for Pets," Plaza Paint's "Paint for Pups

Round Table PizzaPlaza Paint

On every Wednesday in the month of June, Round Table Pizza will donate $1 to the Humane Society of Yuma for every large pizza sold.  Next Wednesday is the final Wednesday in June, so eat pizza!  We can make a difference in our homeless pet's lives one slice at a time!

For every gallon paint sold on Saturdays during the month of June, Plaza Paint will donate $1 to the Humane Society of Yuma. $180 was raised last month. So if you are considering remodeling your house, or just putting some color on the walls, go to Plaza paint.  You'll be making your house fabulous, and saving lives all at once.... now you really have a reason to finish that home project. The final Saturday in June is this weekend!

$1,800+ from Goodshop & Goodsearch.

Since the late 2008, we have raised over $1,600 just from supporters searching and shopping online as they normally would.

GoodShop.com is an online shopping mall which donates up to 30 percent of each purchase to your favorite cause! Over one thousand of great stores including Amazon, Target, Gap, Best Buy, eBay, Macy's and Barnes & Noble have teamed up with GoodShop and every time you place an order, you'll be supporting the Humane Society of Yuma.

GoodSearch.com is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates half its advertising revenue, about a penny per search, to the charities its users designate. Use it just as you would any search engine, get quality search results from Yahoo, and watch the donations add up!

And if you download the GoodSearch - Humane Society of Yuma toolbar, our cause will earn money every time you shop and search online - even if you forget to go to GoodShop or GoodSearch first!  Add the Humane Society of Yuma toolbar
