Support Out Boulder Through Community Shares!
|
|---|
Dear Community Member,
Many workplaces make it easy for employees to contribute monthly to a worthy cause. But the options offered are usually...well....very mainstream. Maybe you'd like to contribute at work to something you feel more personally connected to? Like Out Boulder! Now you can. We are thrilled to announce that Out Boulder is now partnered with Community Shares, a workplace giving program started by a group of non-profits traditionally excluded from mainstream workplace giving campaigns. Community Shares honors the diversity of our community by making workplace donations to LGBT causes possible. We thank them--and invite you to check them out.
If you would like to support Out Boulder through Community Shares, our code is 5195 and they will be coming through your office in the next couple of months.
Sincerely,
Aicila
Executive Director, Out Boulder

Thank you to our Volunteers!
|
|---|
Out Boulder can endlessly thank their volunteers for all they do for us. Whether it be cleaning the pridehouse, office help, assistance during Pridefest, promoting our events, or the great number of other tasks volunteers do for us, we THANK YOU. We had over 50 volunteers help out at Pride this year -- that is a lot of dedicated peeps from the LGBTQA community! We couldn't do all that we do, without your help!

COMMUNITY SPOTLIGHT: Story Sharing Project
|
|---|
The Boulder LGBTQ Community Portrait is a photo & story-sharing project. We have collected 14 stories to create an inclusive story of the LGBTQ community of Boulder. We are compiling these stories and portraits of participant in a book and an exhibition. For many years Out Boulder has benefited from the support of the local community. Today, we are asking for your support to build community through story sharing. You can have direct impact by sponsoring the production of our LGBTQ community portrait by clicking the link below. Your contribution will allow us to print the book and prepare the exhibition. Thank you for your support and your help in spreading the word about this project. Also, please join us for an exhibit featuring the Boulder LGBTQ Community Portrait on February 19- March 19, 2013 at Innisfree Cafe. Click here to find out more and support the project
