I hope you and your family are doing well and enjoying a fun and safe Labor Day weekend... and, the first weekend of College Football! I want to share with you the PROPOSED FY 2010 BUDGET and remind you of Tuesday's PUBLIC HEARING to discuss the budget and associated Tax Levy.
My goodness the time
has flown since this time last year when more than 7,000 Madison County
tax payers protested the "bait and switch" tax increase from the
announced 3.33 mil increase which was increased to 6.33 mils after the
PUBLIC HEARING was closed!!! I sure hope there will be none of these
shenanigans on Tuesday morning.
Please review the PROPOSED FY
2010 BUDGET and be informed on how your tax dollars are used, and
attend the PUBLIC HEARING if possible. Nearly everyone has expressed outrage over the last year as to how Madison County tax revenues are being used.
