Impressions from the AGM at the Goetheanum: April 16, 2011

Herb and Agnes- by Agnes and Herb Schneeberg, London ON

When, at the end of February of this year, we learned that a motion was going to be presented at the AGM of the Anthroposophical Society in Dornach to oust the whole Executive Council, we were shocked. As the outcome of this motion could potentially affect the future of the whole Anthroposophical Society, we decided, after some soul-searching, to travel to Dornach to be part of this important AGM, even though we did not know what to expect. But it was clear to us that a lot would depend on how many people were going to attend this AGM...Read full article.

Impressions de l'Assemble gnrale Dornach:16 avril 2011

- Agnes and Herb Schneeberg, London ON

Thomas Meyer -

13-21 September 2011
Thomas Meyer- by Ann Watson

Thomas' talks this year are a complete cycle called Biography, Reincarnation and Meditation. As a biographer he will talk about Laurence Oliphant, Oscar Wilde, Goethe, D N Dunlop, Helmuth von Moltke, Rudolf Steiner, Krishnamurti and others. He will cover the karma exercises in meditation so as to give us an idea of how we can become involved (at a deeper level) with a comprehensive understanding of the truly far-reaching implications of Reincarnation. Thomas will use Rudolf Steiner's examples from the Karma Lectures to show what one incarnation develops into in another and then, with these ideas, use his own work on biographies (as above mentioned) to further this great concept.

Report From The Treasurer's Meeting At The Goetheanum

- by Douglas Wylie

Doug Wylie...Representatives from approximately 15 National Societies and groups met for the annual meeting of the Treasurers. This was a first-time meeting for me and I felt very welcomed and had the pleasure to meet fellow Treasurers from around the world and take part in a very lively, productive and important meeting...Each person at the meeting spoke to give a brief country report. The representatives from countries with new Treasurers like me also introduced themselves and their respective society. As a representative to our Canadian Society, I felt it very important to attend this meeting and take part. I would be happy to elaborate to any Member who is interested in hearing more.   Read full article
